My Griddles and Grills
Camp Chef FTG 600
The Camp Chef flat top grill was the very first griddle that I’ve ever owned, and it will always be my first love since it introduced me to the flat top grill world. Built like a horse and solid as can be, I’ve cooked on the Camp Chef for over 2 years and I’ve had no issues with it. A great choice if you’re wanting a traditional rolled steel flat top grill. You can read my full Camp Chef flat top grill review here.
Pit Boss Ultimate Griddle 3 Burner
The Pit Boss Ultimate Griddle is another griddle that I use regularly and recommend. With a relatively maintenance-free ceramic griddle top, the Pit Boss is a great option if you don’t want to worry about seasoning your griddle or dealing with rust after weeks of not cooking on it.

Pit Boss Navigator 850
I’m new to the pellet smoking world, but I’m already in love with this smoker/grill! It’s so easy to walk out on the back deck, add some pellets, turn it on, and get to cooking! Many amazing meals have already come off of this smoker, and you don’t really miss the charcoal flavor at all.

My Favorite Griddle Utensils
New Star Food Service Spatulas
I’ve tried 20+ spatulas for the griddle, and these are my favorite by far! If they’re not available on Amazon at the moment, try back in a day or two… You guys sell them out all the time! They feel great in my hand, they’re flexible and light, and they don’t have a square or beveled sharp edge (which I like). You can watch me review loads of other griddle spatulas on YouTube here!

Cuisinart Melting Dome Wire Rack Combo
A perfect melting dome with a bonus wire rack that fits underneath! I tried a few different domes since the Camp Chef doesn’t include a hood, and this one is by far my favorite!

Bench Scraper – Or some people just call it a “scraper”
Bench scrapers are pretty standard and most of them are made the same. This is the one that I have and recommend, but pretty much any scraper will be just fine for your traditional rolled steel griddles.
Earlywood Wooden Scraper/Spatula
A MUST if you have the Pit Boss Ultimate Griddle with the ceramic coated surface! This is my absolute favorite wooden scraper option, and it’s made in America!

Burger/Bacon Press
You can definitely make smash burgers by smashing the meat with a spatula, but a press makes it a little easier. It’s also nice to have to set on top of sandwiches or steaks so that you get an even contact with the griddle surface. Most of these are made pretty similarly, but this is the one that I have and love… I personally don’t like the presses that have the ridges.

My Favorite Seasonings and Spices
Cavendar’s All Purpose Greek Seasoning
It’s called Greek seasoning, but the Greek flavor is very subtle… This is one of my OG favorite seasonings that I ALWAYS have in my pantry. Good on pretty much anything!
Pit Boss Bold Burger Rub
Another great all-purpose seasoning with a mix of salt, pepper, butter flavor, and garlic. I use this frequently because it’s quicker than adding salt, pepper, and garlic powder individually to season your meat and other foods. Even though it’s called Burger Rub, I put it on pretty much everything, including scrambled eggs.
Sure Shot Sid’s Original Gunpowder Seasoning
Sometimes when you’re cooking steak on the griddle, you miss that charcoal flavor that you get from the traditional grill… This seasoning helps with that!
Other Kitchen Favorites
Lodge Cast Iron Skillets
If you didn’t know, I actually started my YouTube channel as a cast iron and charcoal grilling channel, so I’ve got tons of experience with cast iron cookware also. You can’t beat Lodge for its quality and value! Read my full review of the Lodge Blacklock Skillet here.

Zwilling J.A. Henckels Four Star Knives
One of the kitchen tools that I get asked about the most by YouTube subscribers is my knives. Chef’s knives are a really personal thing… it’s all about how each knife feels in your hand, the right balance, etc. But these are the knives that I’ve had for over 16 years, and I love them. They are a bit pricey, so I’ve added to my collection over time.

Rice Cooker
I ALWAYS make my rice for teriyaki and hibachi griddle recipes with a rice cooker the day before. We got our rice cooker as a wedding gift 15+ years ago (so it’s seen better days), and you can’t actually buy the exact same one anymore, but the model linked below is very similar. A great tool to have in the kitchen for rice, fondue, warm dips on a buffet, etc.
